This Overnight Getaway is designed for women who are seeking deeper meaning and purpose in their everyday lives. It’s a chance to step away from the busyness of life and connect with others on a similar journey of personal growth, all within a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
Together, we’ll explore honest, relatable, and thought-provoking real-life themes, providing practical insights you can incorporate into your daily routine.
The experience is as nourishing as it is reflective. You’ll be looked after with the warm hospitality of the Lismullin Institute, with delicious, freshly prepared meals, beautiful grounds for a walk, and your private ensuite room. It’s the perfect balance of inspiration, connection, and rest.

Who Are You Letting Shape You? Conscience & Freedom
Dr. Kathleen Pacious is passionate about English literature. She is on staff at Rosemont Secondary School in Dublin. She mentors teens and adolescents. Inner peace is something we all crave. In this session we will explore how we can regain inner peace so that we can grow. It’s not really quiet time we’re seeking. It’s a right relationship, with others, ourselves and spiritual peace.
Upon arrival on Saturday at 4 pm you will be welcome with a cup of coffee or tea, and have time to bring your luggage to your room.
The first session starts at 4:30 pm.
At 6:15 you can enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the wonderful team of Lismullin. During dinner, you will have the opportunity to get to know the other participants.
Following that, at 7:15 pm, we’ll gather for our second session of the evening. Then at 8:30 pm, you can unwind with a more relaxed activity, whether that’s a beginner-friendly cooking session with the Lismullin Cookery School, a more casual extra session, or simply enjoying cheese and wine in the living room.
On Sunday, breakfast is served at 9:45 am followed by downtime.
The session on Sunday starts at 12 pm, followed by lunch at 1:15pm.
This is a question we’re often asked, and the answer is NO – you don’t have to be.
The themes we explore during the overnight are relatable to women from diverse backgrounds and beliefs. They’re mostly approached through a philosophical and or professional lens, with examples that are easy to follow and connect with. Plus, all sessions are optional, so you can decide whether to join in or take some time for yourself.
