(Mark 6:31) An annual retreat allows priests to take a few days away from the hectic rhythm of daily pastoral work, to rest in Christ and to allow him renew our priestly vocation.

Retreat Outline

The retreat begins with dinner on Monday at 6:15 pm and finishes with breakfast on Friday at 9:15am. This is a silent retreat. Each morning we will celebrate the Mass together, though there is also an option of individual Mass.

The retreat will include the following

  • Each day is structured around the celebration of the Office together
  • There will also be guided prayer and time for spiritual reading
  • Insightful talks on aspects of the priesthood

Facilities

  • You will have your own room with en-suite bathroom. Sheets and towels provided
  • All meals are provided, and you can make a cup of tea/coffee any time you wish
  • A full library of spiritual books available to you while you are doing the retreat
  • You can go for walks in the beautiful grounds

Payment

The price of the retreat is €395 which includes meals and accommodation.

However, our policy is that no one should be discouraged from attending because of difficulty in paying. If you are unable to pay the full cost, it is sufficient to pay whatever you are able.
