Antonino Vaccaro is the Academic Director of the Center for Business in Society and an Assistant Professor of the Business Ethics Department. Antonino received a MSc. in Engineering (Politecnico of Milan), a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management (IST, Lisbon) and two Post Doctoral Research Fellowships respectively in Ethics and Technology Policy (Carnegie Mellon University) and in Information Ethics (University of Oxford).
Before joining IESE, Antonino has served as Executive Director of the Center for Ethics, Business and Economics of the Catholic University of Lisbon and as an adjunct faculty of the Heinz School of Public Policy and Management of Carnegie Mellon University. Antonino Vaccaro has worked in consultancy and applied research projects for such companies as Southern Company, Artsana Group, Tecnotre and Volkswagen.
He is currently serving as a consultant of the Portuguese Judiciary Police (anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing unit), the UN Global Compact (Anti-corruption Initiative) and EDP Foundation.
Antonino Vaccaro’s publications have appeared in Research Policy, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Ethics and Information Technology, The Information Society and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
